About us
The Federation does its utmost to promote the practice of Moto Gymkhana. It organizes dedicated activities, offers secure training facilities and mobilizes a team of experienced instructors. Activities include free training, specific training, courses and competitions.
Free training
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, the Rochefort velodrome (Rue du vélodrome in Jemelle) is open to cyclists for the whole afternoon (starting around 1pm, finishing around 5pm). The velodrome is closed to the public and only those entitled to use it have access (private activity on private land). The public can set up at the perimeter barriers. The Federation will set up a motogymkhana course and, if necessary, workshops (specific exercise areas) on which riders can train as much as they like and at their own pace (within the limits of respect for others and always subject to the authority of the safety officer). Federation staff are responsible for the organization, entry and safety of the activity. They cannot, therefore, provide training or advice.... Just like when you book a karting session (only cheaper and more fun:) ) Please note that only members who have paid their membership fees and are in good standing, and who carry their membership card, have access to the course.

Specific training
To help riders progress, the federation organizes specific or themed training sessions: Braking techniques Positioning Overall operation Competitions These specific training sessions can take place on Sunday afternoons instead of free training sessions (free for members), or can be held at other times and/or other locations. In this case, a preferential price and priority is given to members. As this is a specific training session, generally directed towards a fundamental technique, the number of participants is large and the price is very modest, but the approach and method will enable you to understand, test and anchor these notions. Not to be confused with a training course!

Courses
Training courses are made-to-measure training days offered to racing drivers, focusing on sporty driving. These courses are sometimes given by foreign instructors with a proven track record in competition. Once again, discounts and priority are given to members of the federation. These courses will take place outside training Sundays, and possibly elsewhere than at the velodrome.

Competitions
Finally, the federation organizes more or less 4 national competitions. Competitions take place over a full weekend: Saturday is devoted to free training, Sunday to competition. If the number of participants permits, Sunday will be supplemented by a free training session. Federation members also benefit from preferential rates and priority registration. Please note that for the most motivated, the official Team “Belgium” chasuble is available exclusively to members of the federation.
